Every project begins with an evaluation of the structure. We review: roof geometry, attic type, HVAC location, framing depth, moisture conditions, and building use. This evaluation drives the foam chemistry recommendation and project scope.
We provide a clear, detailed quote based on actual roof deck or cavity dimensions, not floor area estimates.
Before any foam is applied, we prepare the substrate. For metal buildings, this means removing surface oils, dust, and any moisture residue. For wood framing, we verify the assembly is dry. For crawl spaces, we check for active moisture issues.
Proper substrate preparation is one of the most important factors in long-term adhesion and foam performance.
Foam is applied in controlled lifts with attention to cavity fill, continuity at transitions, and correct thickness. We pay special attention to difficult areas: hip and valley junctions, rim joists, penetrations, and steel-to-framing transitions.
We follow manufacturer-specified application temperatures and lift thicknesses to ensure chemical performance and safety.
After installation, excess foam is trimmed flush where drywall or other finish materials will be applied. For exposed applications, we review surface quality. Jobsites are left clean and ready for the next trade.
Before leaving the jobsite, our crew does a final walk of the installation to check: coverage continuity, transition completion, depth achievement, and surface quality. Any gaps or missed transitions are addressed before completion.
